COVID-19
From Thursday 24 February 2022, the legal requirement to self-isolate and stay at home following a positive test is removed.
- Instead, adults and children who test positive will continue to be advised to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for at least 5 full days and then continue to follow the guidance until they have received 2 negative test results on consecutive days.
- Close contacts, who are fully vaccinated, and those under 18 years old, no longer need to test daily for 7 days.
We will continue to send a pupil home from school if they show common symptoms of COVID-19 at school, including a continuous cough, high temperature or loss of taste and/or smell.
