Children regularly take part in an exciting times table challenge. They need to aim to correctly answer all of either 50, 80 or 100 times table questions in 5 minutes. New members of the 50, 80 or 100 club are announced in assembly and their efforts are celebrated. Their teacher will move them to the next sheet or, once they have completed the 100 club challenge, see if they can maintain their perfect score next time. Mr Savage also often holds a 'big grid' times table challenge at lunchtimes for older children, where children see how quickly they can complete a 12 x 12 times table grid.
