Times of the School Day

The School Office is open from 8.00 am until 5.00 pm

School starts at 8.55 am and finishes at 3.15 pm.

The total time each week is 31 hours and 40 minutes each week. 

School gates open at 8:40 am.

From this time children can go to their classrooms as part of a soft start. 

The school day starts at 8:55 am. with morning registration. 

Registers close at 9:05 am; children that arrive after this time will be marked as late on the register.

School ends at 3:15 pm.

Nursery

Morning Session 9.00 am - 12.00 pm

Please ensure that your child is here on time and is ready for their learning.

Regular attendance is vital and is monitored and reported on according to statutory regulations.

The Department for Education has set a target of at least 96% attendance for each child and we expect every child to achieve at least that from Reception onwards.

Attendance and attainment are directly related and therefore it is essential that children should attend school every day.

It is very important for children to be punctual.

Lateness disrupts the start of the day for your child and the other children in the class. If you arrive late to school with your child, you must report to the school office where your child will be marked in. Children must be collected promptly at the end of the school day.
